Hi! Thanks for visiting my website!
A little bit about myself: I have always been infatuated with
fiber art. Theresa Doan taught me how to knit when I was in
the third grade, my Aunt Linda taught me to crochet in the
fourth grade, I picked up beading sometime in the fourth
grade and I learned to weave in High School and College. My
mother also got me involved in the Black Sheep Weaver's
Guild early on through her interest in spinning and creating.
I have a BFA from the University of Michigan School of Art
and Design with a Minor in Art History. My focus in College
was Fiber Art/Textiles. My drawing training was in Scientific
Illustration.
Since College I have lived in Boulder, CO., Madison, WI. and I
now reside in East Lansing, MI.
I am currently an off-site artist with the Grove Gallery Co-op
in downtown East Lansing. I can be found there during some
week days if you would ever like to meet in person! I am also
available for beading tutorials/workshops.
I am also the membership person for the Greater Lansing
Weaver's Guild, a member of the Ann Arbor Fiber Arts Guild,
and a member of the Michigan League of Handweavers.
Feel free to contact me.
