"Colored Vines"
Jenny Schu.: Staple Bangle
2006
Originally this bangle was made to
match a Betsy Johnson dress that I
love. I wore the dress with that
bangle to my friend Liz's wedding in
2006. Unfortunately some of the
beads in the original bangle faded and I
haven't really worn it since.
The design itself was really successful in
it's function and wear-ability. So I
re-made it using a color combination
that managed to work (although I
wasn't sure it would.)
This final color version was juried into
the Fiber Arts Network's New Fibers
Exhibit 2006. I also made a
wonderful "black and white" version of
this bangle which is really easy to wear.
